Product Designer

DesignRemote · WorldwideFull-time

Own the visual and interaction design of the Norba platform — from the consumer booking experience (search, seat maps, checkout) to the developer portal and confirmation emails. You'll collaborate daily with engineers and ship designs that are both beautiful and implementable.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end design of the Norba consumer and developer experience across web surfaces.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma for new features like the seat map picker, itinerary timeline, and search form.
  • Maintain and evolve the Norba design system — CSS custom properties (design tokens), component variants, and documentation that maps 1:1 to shadcn/ui + Radix primitives.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing with travel agencies and travellers; translate insights into design decisions.
  • Partner directly with frontend engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation using Tailwind CSS v4, Motion for micro-interactions, and the cypher-inspired dark/light theme system.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of product design experience at a software company, with shipped web products in your portfolio.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating complex UI problems solved elegantly — forms, data-dense tables, multi-step flows.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma — auto-layout, component variants, variables, and design token integration.
  • Comfort with front-end concepts — you understand the component model (React), the utility-first CSS approach (Tailwind), and can hand off designs that engineers can implement directly.
  • Clear communication skills — you can articulate design rationale concisely in async (written) and sync (video) settings.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing for e-commerce checkout, travel booking, or fintech dashboards.
  • Familiarity with motion design (Framer Motion / Motion library) and micro-interaction patterns.
  • Ability to inspect and tweak styles directly in the browser (DevTools).

Interested? We'd love to hear from you.
