NDC Integration Specialist

Lead the technical onboarding of new airline NDC connections and maintain our existing integrations across IATA NDC 17.2, 18.1, and 2015 schemas. You understand the nuances of airline XML APIs, OAuth2 auth flows, and the certification process end-to-end.
What you'll do
- Lead technical onboarding of new airline NDC integrations — from initial API exploration through certification to production go-live.
- Maintain and debug the American Airlines adapter (Accelya Open Connect) — schema changes, credential rotation, regression testing.
- Collaborate with airline technical teams during certification, mapping their NDC responses into our canonical schema via the normalization pipeline.
- Document integration quirks, edge cases, and mapping decisions in the internal knowledge base.
- Build integration test suites and automated regression checks that catch schema drift before it reaches production.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience working with airline NDC APIs or GDS connectors (Sabre, Amadeus, Travelport).
- Solid understanding of IATA NDC 17.2 / 18.1 / 21.3 XML schemas and JSON transformations.
- Experience guiding airlines through NDC certification and production go-live.
- Strong written communication — you'll produce clear integration specs, runbooks, and airline-facing documentation.
Nice to have
- Coding background (Go, Python, or TypeScript) for automation, test scripts, and lightweight adapter contributions.
- Experience with IATA ONE Order or OrderChange / OrderCancel (OC/OB) servicing standards.
- Familiarity with OAuth2 client_credentials, HTTP Basic Auth, and static Bearer token auth patterns.
