Our commitment
NORBA TRAVEL OÜ wants everyone to be able to search and book a flight, and to build on our API, whatever their abilities and whatever technology they use. This statement covers norba.io and its documentation, the dashboard at app.norba.io, the booking site booking.norba.io, and the Norba Travel apps for Android and iOS.

The standard we work to
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the level the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 refers to, and towards the accessibility requirements of the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882).
[ 03 ]
Where we are
We have not yet had the sites and apps audited against WCAG 2.2, so we do not claim that they conform to it, fully or partly. This statement will say what an audit found once one has been carried out.
What is in place today:
- Every page declares its language, so screen readers read English and Spanish pages with the right voice, and the whole service is available in both languages.
- Light and dark themes, and pages that follow the theme set on your device.
- Animations that respect your system's reduced-motion setting where the motion is decorative.
- Layouts that work from a phone to a wide screen, and text that can be enlarged with the browser's zoom; tables, such as the cookie inventory, become stacked lists on narrow screens instead of scrolling sideways.
- The booking total, the airline's fare rules and the difference between paying now and holding stated in text, not only in colour or icons.
[ 04 ]
What may not work well yet
Without an audit we cannot list every gap, but these are the areas most likely to cause difficulty, and the ones we check first:
- complex interactive controls — date pickers, seat maps, filters and dialogs — with a keyboard alone or with a screen reader;
- colour contrast of secondary text in some places;
- text that comes from airlines as they send it — fare rules, baggage terms and conditions of carriage — which we display but do not write;
- documents produced by airlines, such as e-tickets and receipts.

If something is in your way
Write to hello@norba.io. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the device and assistive technology you use if you are happy to. We will answer, help you complete what you were doing, and send you the information you need in a format you can use. Every report is treated as a defect to fix.

Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the authority that supervises the accessibility of services in Estonia, where we are established: Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet (Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, TTJA), www.ttja.ee. You may also contact the authority responsible for accessibility in the country where you live.
